Hanalei Charters offers the ultimate Na Pali coast boating adventure tours in the most beautiful place on the planet, experience living in the moment, sightseeing, swimming, and snorkeling. They are a Kauai company sharing the history, ocean and aviary & marine life with our guests in true local style with the best interests of family, friends, community, natural and cultural resources at heart. This tour will depart from Hanalei Bay touring the entire Na Pali coast and turning around at Polihale.
Na Pali means “many cliffs” and you’ll see how apt that name is when you gaze upon its world-renown 3,500-foot heights, green valleys, waterfalls and hidden beaches. As you head for your destination the crew will educate you with stories of the Hawaiians who once lived there. Your Captains will tour old lava tubes “sea caves” (depending on weather conditions). The Na Pali Coast is a sight to be enjoyed from sea level.
To top off the experience, your Captain will anchor the boat and you’ll have a chance to do some snorkeling (snorkel location varies depending on the weather conditions the day of your tour).
About The Vessel
This 40 ft long and 12.5ft wide Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat is quick and agile, large enough to include all comforts you expect, and nimble enough to get up close to the Na Pali Coast’s lush valleys, sea caves, waterfalls, and lava tubes. Not to be confused with a zodiac-type rubber raft, Adventurer II and Adventurer III are made with a channeled fiberglass hull that cuts through the waves. The twin RHIBs powered by twin 300 hp outboard motors are powerful, quick, incredibly efficient, and quiet.
This vessel is equipped with cushioned, stadium-style forward facing bench seats allow comfortable viewing for all on board, a freshwater shower available after snorkeling and a small marine head (restroom) on board.

What To Bring
For this one-of-a-kind activity bring along your comfortable attire, hat, sunscreen(reef-safe), water bottle and a light sweater should it get breezy and of course don’t forget your camera!

- Not recommended for individuals who have or have had back problems, recent injuries or surgeries, Severe Allergies or suffer from severe motion sickness.
- For safety, no pregnant women or children under 5 allowed on this tour.

- If you do not have your prescribed medication with you, i.e. Inhalers, EpiPens, diabetic medication and/or any other daily medications, you must reschedule your tour for another day.
- All tours are “Bare-Foot”. Passengers will remove their shoes prior to boarding. Only orthopedic/diabetic exceptions will be made at captain’s direction.
- Due to vessel transfers, guests should be prepared to wade in the water and be able to assist themselves onto vessels.
- Seasickness is best prevented with an over-the-counter remedy.
- You should bring your own towels, sunscreen, a light jacket and a camera, glasses, hat, water bottle.
- Vessels are equipped with sensitive marine heads (toilets) that clog easily. Do not flush anything other than what your body produces and the toilet paper provided.
- Spray on/aerosol sunscreen is a safety hazard and may not be used on-board the vessel. Reef-friendly sunscreens are encouraged.
- REEF-SAFE SUNSCREEN ONLY is doing our part to protect our local reefs
- Not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
- All tour routes and destinations are subject to change without notice.
- Snorkeling depends on ocean conditions.
- Non-swimmers are not allowed in the water.
- Full-face snorkel masks are not allowed; guests are required to use traditional two-piece snorkel and mask sets.
- Does not land on shore.

- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of activity
- For groups of 6+ there are no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of activity
- We will gladly reschedule your activity at no extra cost if changes are made prior to the 48 or 72 hour cancellation period
- Cancellations from date of booking to 48 hours before activity or for larger groups 72 hours before activity are subject to a 10% service charge
- If for some reason we are unable to confirm your reservation with the activity operator due to oversold seats or other unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be provided and you will be notified immediately to discuss alternative dates and activities
If a tour operator cancels any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
